REPRODUCIBLE EXAMPLE / 2026-10-19
A small repository. A real CLI result.
We ran the current RepoDocs scaffold command on a small CC0 Rust parcel-pricing fixture. This page shows actual source and actual generated reference, rather than a simulated result.
The source
//! A tiny public-domain parcel quotation example.
pub mod pricing;
/// Quote the delivery price in cents for a parcel.
pub fn quote(weight_grams: u32) -> u32 {
pricing::base_fee() + pricing::weight_fee(weight_grams)
}
The command
cargo run --release -p repodocs-cli -- scaffold /path/to/disposable-parcel-fixtureThe generated entity reference
# Module src Reference
Deterministic reference from the entity index for crate/module **`src`**.
## Entities
- `base_fee` (`Function`): `fn base_fee()`
- `pricing` (`Module`): `mod pricing`
- `quote` (`Function`): `fn quote(weight_grams)`
- `weight_fee` (`Function`): `fn weight_fee(grams)`What this run proves
The command completed successfully and indexed 4 entities. It generated Markdown reference files without an LLM request. The dependency graph contained 0 edges.
What still needs work
- Rust function calls in fixture were not represented as indexed edges.
- Overview contains a generic RepoDocs CLI data-flow template unrelated to fixture.
- MkDocs navigation includes absent baseline and ADR pages.
Review every generated page against the source. The current architecture overview is not evidence of a complete source-derived dependency graph.
